Strategic Clarity

JURIS Family Office exists to provide international families, entrepreneurs, principals and private clients with clarity, control and continuity across every aspect of their personal, legal and commercial affairs.

Complex wealth creates complex responsibilities. Families may hold assets in several jurisdictions, operate international businesses, own property and luxury assets, maintain trusts and corporate structures, and rely upon numerous lawyers, accountants, tax advisers, fiduciaries and other specialists. Without central coordination, advice can become fragmented, responsibilities can overlap and important decisions may be made without a complete understanding of the wider family position.

Our mission is to remove that fragmentation.

JURIS acts as the central strategic point between the family and its professional advisers. We identify what must be addressed, determine which expertise is required, appoint or instruct the appropriate specialists and oversee the delivery of each mandate. Rather than requiring the family to manage multiple disconnected advisers, we provide one coherent framework through which legal, tax, accounting, governance, intelligence and specialist services can be coordinated. We do not offer Investment, Tax or Legal Advice.

Our purpose is not simply to respond to immediate problems. It is to help families anticipate risk, prepare for change and establish structures capable of supporting future generations. This includes succession planning, asset protection, family governance, business continuity, international mobility, reputational protection and the orderly transfer of wealth, responsibility and knowledge.

We recognise that no two families are alike. Every family has its own history, values, relationships, commercial interests and ambitions. Our work therefore begins with understanding the family itself: what it owns, how it operates, what it wishes to protect and what it wants to achieve over the long term.

JURIS brings together the discretion and personal attention of a private office with access to an international network of experienced professional firms. Through our relationships in London, Monaco, Geneva, Dubai and the United States, we are able to coordinate advice across the jurisdictions in which modern families live, invest and conduct business.

Our mission is ultimately straightforward: to protect family interests, preserve long-term value, reduce unnecessary complexity and give our clients confidence that every important matter is being considered as part of one integrated strategy.

The JURIS Methodology

The JURIS Methodology is a structured approach to understanding, organising and protecting the affairs of international families and private clients.

It is designed around one central principle: significant decisions should never be considered in isolation.

A legal structure may have tax consequences. A business decision may affect succession planning. A property acquisition may create regulatory, financing, residency or inheritance considerations. A reputational issue may require legal, intelligence and communications expertise. The role of JURIS is to ensure that each decision is assessed within the complete family, commercial and jurisdictional context.

1. Understand

Every engagement begins with a detailed understanding of the client.

We examine the family structure, principal assets, business interests, existing advisers, trusts, companies, property holdings, international connections and immediate priorities. We also consider the family’s longer-term objectives, including succession, governance, wealth transfer, privacy and legacy.

This initial stage allows us to identify not only the matters already known to the client, but also gaps, duplicated responsibilities and risks that may not yet have been addressed.

2. Map

We then create a clear picture of the family’s existing arrangements.

This may include mapping ownership structures, professional relationships, corporate entities, trusts, family members, jurisdictions, reporting obligations and decision-making responsibilities.

For families whose affairs have developed over many years, this process can be particularly valuable. Important information is often held across numerous advisers, documents and institutions. JURIS brings this information into one coordinated strategic overview.

3. Assess

Once the position has been mapped, we conduct a structured review of the principal legal, tax, accounting, governance, operational and reputational considerations.

We identify areas requiring immediate attention, matters that can be addressed over time and opportunities to improve the family’s existing arrangements.

Our objective is to distinguish between what is urgent, what is important and what is unnecessary. This prevents families from being drawn into fragmented or excessive professional work without a clear strategic purpose.

4. Design

JURIS then develops a coordinated action plan aligned with the family’s priorities.

The strategy may involve legal restructuring, tax planning, succession arrangements, family governance, business review, trust and estate planning, consolidated reporting, risk management or the appointment of new professional advisers.

Each recommendation is placed within an agreed timetable, with responsibilities, priorities and intended outcomes clearly defined.

5. Appoint

Where specialist expertise is required, JURIS identifies and coordinates the appropriate professional firms.

This may include solicitors, tax advisers, accountants, fiduciaries, corporate intelligence specialists, investigators, property advisers, immigration lawyers, insurance professionals or other sector experts.

We select advisers according to the requirements of the matter, the jurisdiction involved and the needs of the family. Existing trusted advisers are respected and incorporated wherever appropriate.

6. Implement

A strategy has limited value unless it is properly executed.

JURIS oversees the implementation process, coordinates communication between advisers, monitors deadlines and ensures that each workstream remains aligned with the wider family strategy.

This central oversight reduces delay, duplication and misunderstanding. It also provides the family with one point of contact through which progress can be reviewed and decisions can be made.

7. Review

Family circumstances, laws, markets and jurisdictions continually change.

The JURIS Methodology therefore includes periodic review. We assess whether existing structures remain appropriate, whether professional relationships continue to deliver value and whether new risks or opportunities have arisen.

This ongoing process ensures that the family’s arrangements evolve alongside its assets, businesses, members and ambitions.

One Family. One Strategy. One Point of Coordination.

The result is a more disciplined and transparent approach to managing complex affairs.

JURIS does not seek to replace every specialist adviser. We ensure that the right advisers are appointed, that their work is coordinated and that each recommendation contributes to the family’s wider objectives.

Through this methodology, families gain a clearer understanding of their position, greater control over professional services and a long-term framework for protecting what they have built.
